The plate-type ozone generator is mainly used for small-scale space disinfection. In recent years, the panel-type ozone generator has received increasing attention. In this article, we will focus on the differences between the tube-type and panel-type ozone generators.
1、Ozone Generator Principle
The principle of the tube-type ozone generator: There is a certain number of pipes welded between two fixed tube plates inside the ozone generator to act as grounding electrodes. The electrodes are placed in the grounding pipes, each consisting of a high-voltage electrode, a stainless steel screen, and a dielectric glass tube. Ozone is generated between the grounding electrodes, dielectrics, and high-voltage electrodes.
The principle of the panel-type ozone generator:
Adopts the corona discharge technology, under the strong power of high voltage electric fields, high-speed moving electrons impact oxygen to decompose it into oxygen atoms. High-speed electronics have sufficient kinetic energy. Through the interaction of oxygen atoms, oxygen molecules, and high-speed electrons, triboluminescence occurs and forms ozone.

3、MaterialsThe electrode materials for the panel-type ozone generator are pure silver, pure titanium, aluminum magnesium titanium alloy; the dielectric material is electronic grade ceramic; the sealing material is fluoroplastic rubber and Hevea brasiliensis rubber.
For the tube-type ozone generator, the electrode materials are stainless steel (304,316), carbon steel (A3); the dielectric material is glass and enamel; the sealing material is silicone rubber.
