Ozonator for Bottled water
Ozone is a powerful oxidant used to disinfect drinking water. When used to disinfect bottled water, ozone is the safest of all chemical disinfectants. A commonly used water disinfectant is chlorine. However, it cannot be used to disinfect packaged drinking water due to its hazardous nature, residual properties due to long half-life and hazardous disinfectant by-products (DBPs). Using a low dose of ozone, the RO treated water in the storage tank can now be disinfected.

Ozone treatment has multiple unmatched advantages compared to any other disinfectant technique. Due to this, Ozone was made mandatory by the "International Bottled Water Association" to use Ozone in the final stage of bottling. IBWA recommends that the RO permit water tank be dosed with 1.0 to 2.0 ppm of Ozone. The residual Ozone in the water going for bottling should be 0.2 to 0.4 ppm, so the ozonated water can disinfect the PET bottle and the cap from inside.
Advantages Of Ozone Disinfection:
1.Ozone has a higher Oxidation Potential than Chlorine, Chlorine Dioxide, and Chlorine Gas.
2.Ozone Disinfectant Byproducts are safe.
3.Residual Ozone naturally degrades to a safe Oxygen Molecule.
4.Ozone works faster compared to any other disinfectant.
5.Ozone is effective on pathogens, colour and odour.
6.Ozone Is environmentally friendly.
7.Ozone Is approved in the USA as Generally Recognized As Safe GRAS.
8.USFDA approves Ozone for direct contact with packaged food and beverage products.
