Case Details
The Chongqing Sturgeon Farming Base specializes in the cultivation of adult sturgeon, utilizing concrete tanks as its primary rearing facilities. As the scale and stocking density of the operation have increased, the base’s requirements for dissolved oxygen management have also become more stringent.
The base covers an area of approximately 10 mu, with concrete tanks 1.5–1.7 meters deep, operating under a high-density farming model. Due to frequent oxygen deficiency and uneven oxygen distribution in the water, the base urgently required an efficient and controllable aeration system.
The aeration solution involves placing 4–5 ceramic discs in each pond, paired with CH-O40L oxygen generators (output: 40 L/min). This setup ensures uniform dissolved oxygen distribution throughout the pond, effectively resolving the oxygen deficiency issue.
The facility manager is highly satisfied with the results. This solution has completely resolved the dissolved oxygen problem, stabilizing oxygen levels at 6 mg/L. It has improved the survival rate and growth rate of the sturgeon, significantly boosting aquaculture profitability.
